- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Only kudos for the shelter and staff! I brought in a stray kitten after my vet determined she had no chip. No one was looking for her, so I adopted her after a waiting period during which Hays examined, spayed, and vaccinated her. It was clear she'd received affectionate care, and they were generous in making sure I had what we needed for a good start -- food, litter, toys, advice, and a discount on a follow-up vet exam.By Donna Loveland, July 22, 2017
